I’m amazed. Zap Photoshare from Hominid Software is the first webOS App I know that supports Touch to Share.
So what’s it all about? Basicly it’s an App to share your Photos from your Device with any Client in the same WLAN. Once you have the App started you can choose what Folder you want to share. After some Seconds that Folder can be accessed with a normal Web browser. To get to the Device from you PC you can either enter the URL the App is telling your or send an Email/SMS with the URL. If you own a Pre3 or Veer with webOS 2.2 or higher and a TouchPad you use Touch-To-Share.
The Images are not copied to your TouchPad, instead the TouchPad opens the internal Browser with the URL of the Device.
You can select individual Picture to be displayed or view them in a Slide show. Pretty easy to use. The only thing I’m missing right now is the possibility to run the Slide show in Full-Screen Mode, I asked Doug if he could implement it but the Gallery is using ColorBox, which is maintained by Jack Moore, the he has limited options on “feature” right now.
Check out this Video from the App:
